
BEACH WATCH
Couple of small days of waves coming up as the swell gradually drops. Clean offshore conditions through out the morning and not much variation in the tides though afternoon high will fill a few breaks. Swell has straightened up to the S/E at around 1m. Wind light N/W to West tending East during the afternoon. Tides going low for the early and try the breaks at South Newcastle, The Cliff and off the rocks at Merewether. Bar Reef and Cowrie towards afternoon high. Redhead, Frenchmans and Moonie to the south. Birubi and Box Beach up at Port Stephens. Best to swim at Nobbys or Bar Beach which are patrolled and still erosion at Merewether. Water temp 16C. - Dave Anderson
