BEACHWATCH
Low pressure system has moved to the north and we will see conditions start to settle down but not clean up too much. Swell has swung with some east in it's direction and starting to drop. Swell east to south-east at 1.5 to 2m. Winds light and variable tending south-east to east.
Shallow tide first up and banks at most beaches will have changed due to sweeps running north and erosion in front of stormwater pipes. Northern facing breaks the best chance of a wave though not much quality. Newcastle Beach off Alley and Nobbys bank during the morning. Seals Rocks area to the north. Poor swimming conditions.
Water temperature 17C. - Dave Anderson
