BEACHWATCH
Hasn't been the best of weeks for waves with more choppy conditions for today with onshore wind flow along the coast. No increase in swell likely till the weekend and just a few shorebreaks early. Swell from the East to S/E at 1m to 1.5m. Wind moderate South to S/E. Run out tide for the morning surf and peaky choppy shorebreaks at Dixon and Pogos. Try along beach at Nobbys and on the afternoon high, Cowrie Hole Not much better to the south with Caves and Catho an option. Boxy and Fingal up at Port Stephens. Few small patches of seaweed at Nobbys and slight sweeps in southern corners. Water temp 21C. - Dave Anderson
