Onshore winds for the start of the weekend. Surf conditions choppy with just a few okay waves on the morning's incoming tide. Shore breaks peaky and reefs bumpy. Swell from east at 1 to 1.5m and south at 1m. Wind moderate southeast to east tending northeast late. First up try shore breaks at Pogos and Merewether; Cowrie and Bar Reef on high tide.
