Offshore winds over the weekend and swell slowly dropping and straightening up. Better waves will be on outside breaks on the banks as the gutters in close have widened and deeper. Clean conditions through out the mornings. Swell from the S/E to South at 1.5 to 2m. Winds light and variable N/W to West tending S/E. Tides filling to a mid morning high suiting most beaches. First up try South Bar,Cliff and Merewether. Flat Rock on high and Nobbys on afternoon low. Burwood, Caves and Catho to the south. One Mile and Fingal up at Port Stephens. Sweeps and drop overs in close and poor swimming conditions.Water temp 17C. - Dave Anderson
