BEACH WATCH
Beach to be popular with a hot day coming up.Offshore winds and small clean conditions. Tides are set up good with a late morning low before filling on the afternoon high. Swell from the South to S/E at 1m. Wind light early before freshening North to N/W shifting South late. There are some okay banks with Newcastle Beach off king rock, Cliff, Dixon and Pogos. Bar Beach and Cowrie towards high tide. Small breaks at Burwood, Redhead and Birdie to the south. Birubi up at Port Stephens. Good in for a refreshing swim though few patches of kelp at Nobbys and swim between the red and yellow flags. Water temp 21C. - Dave Anderson
