Low pressure system has deepened and slowly moving off the coast to the south. Fresh to strong onshore winds over the weekend with conditions picking up but mainly choppy and windblown. Swell from the at 1.5m increasing to 2.5m.Winds out of the S/W to West. Tides going low in the morning and some protection in the southern corners. Check Nobbys Reefs and Merewether off the rocks. Shorebreaks at Pogos. Burwood, Dudley and Catho to the south. One Mile and Fingal up at Port Stephens. Swimming conditions to deteriorate with sweeps running to the north.
