Low pressure system is to the south so we are looking at some offshore winds for today. Swell slowly beginning to drop and most beaches to have good waves at various times suiting the tides. Swell from the S/E to South at 1.5m. Wind North to N/W freshening West during afternoon. Tide just starting to come in for the early and try the banks at Nobbys, south Newcastle,Cliff and Merewether. Pogos shorebreak an Flatrock as tide fills late morning. Dudley, Redhead and Caves to the south. Birubi and Samurai up at Port Stephens. Offshore winds for Sunday.
