Strong offshore winds will keep surf small before an increase from the south for Sunday. Plenty out at all beaches so make sure you just surf then leave and keep distance in line ups. Swell from East 1m tending South 1 to 1.5m. Wind freshening N/W to West shifting S/W late. Early low tide suiting the banks off Newcastle Beach, South Bar, Cliff and Pogos. Bar Reef and Cowrie on the high tide. Burwood is popular and to the south try Redhead and Frenchmans. One Mile and Samurai up at Port Stephens.
