BEACH WATCH
Surf to remain on the small side with some clean offshore condition on the mornings low tide. Mainly shorebreaks on offer and there is a weak change working it's way up the coast for today. Swell has swung around to the East at 1m. Wind light North to N/W shifting S/W to South. Consistency not the best and better waves towards northern corners. For the early try Newcastle beach off the alley, South Bar and The Cliff. Nobbys when wind changes. Small breaks at Burwood, Dudley and Catho to the south. Boxy and Fingal up at Port Stephens. Cold current has come down the coast which is making it a touch fresh when first in.Erosion at Dixon and Merewether sanding up. Water temp 16C. - Dave Anderson
