BEACHWATCH
The swell event of the past few days is coming to an end. Beach levels have dropped, meaning changes in banks and shorebreaks. Tides running low for the early and that will suit the banks at Newcastle Beach, South Bar, Cliff and Dixon. Shorebreak at Pogos and try Merewether towards midday on fuller tide. Redhead, Frenchmans and Catho to the south. Samurai and One Mile up at Port Stephens. Rocks are up at Cliff and Pogos, which have beach accesses closed due to erosion. - Dave Anderson
