Offshore winds through out the morning and some good waves to be had. Better breaks are in the northern corners and the shore breaks will improve after the early low tide. Swell is around to the east at 1 to 1.8m. Wind moderate west to northwest tending southwest during the afternoon. First up try Newcastle Beach off the alley and divider as well as off the car park at Dixon; Pogos and South Bar as tide fills; Dudley, Redhead and North Catho to the south; One Mile and Buribi up at Port Stephens.
