Wind will be swinging about with a chance of some cleaner conditions though it does look like rain on the forecasts. Banks are very shallow and long in close so better waves around the mid morning high tide. Swell from the S/E to South at 1m. Wind light and variable tending N/E to North. First up try the banks off South Bar, Dixon boat ramp and Merewether off the middle. Nobbys on afternoon low tide. Burwood, Redhead and Frenchmans to the south. Birubi and One Mile up at Port Stephens.Patrolled beaches closed so swim at own risk and only go for exercise, swim or surf. Water temp 20C. - Dave Anderson
