Newcastle bar hosting a Monty Python film night with free flowing booze

Do the words "he's not the Messiah...he's a very naughty boy" mean anything to you?

If they do, chances are that you're at least a casual fan of Monty Python and if we told you that a Newcastle bar is throwing a party dedicated to the famous comedy clan...with added free flowing booze, you'd probably be interested!

That's exactly what is happening at city centre haunt Billy Bootleggers on Thursday, May 30.

The Nelson Street bar, which lies under the Grainger Market, is celebrating all things Life of Brian and The Holy Grail with a Monty Python Movie Night.

For £25 per person those who have pre-booked a table can enjoy two hours of free-flowing drinks whilst they celebrate the Monty Python legacy.

For your drinks you can have either bottomless beer or prosecco for two hours.

And you'll also get to tuck into a burger and fries, from a choice of:

The Institution
House sauce, cheese, lettuce and bacon

The Prohibition (V)
Halloumi, house sauce, cheese and lettuce

The Hot One
Spiced relish, cheese, jalopenos. bacon, alioli and nachos

Paris
