Newcastle and Kempton horse racing tips from Newsboy for day two of the sport's comeback

ST GALLEN found a new lease of life over hurdles for Olly Murphy and it would be no surprise to see him do likewise on the Flat.

The ex-Irish gelding scored at Market Rasen and Kelso before a below-par run in the valuable Summer Handicap Hurdle at the former track last July and has room for manoeuvre with his current mark back on the level.

He is the NAP selection in Kempton's 1.35, while the next-best races at Newcastle.

UNIT OF ASSESSMENT (5.25) has been commendably consistent and another good effort is on the cards.

William Knight's six-year-old, 4-15 on the all-weather - including two Polytrack victories at Kempton Park in 2019 - is 2lb higher than when scoring on turf at Windsor this time last year and the booking of Andrea Atzeni for a runner who goes well fresh catches the eye.
