Newcastle United were well beaten at St James' Park as Man City ran out 4-0 winners.
This defeat does little to lift the mood on Tyneside with United currently nosediving towards the Championship.
And sadly there was a defensive no show from Eddie Howe's side as they handed the game to City on a plate.
Here's how they rated:
Martin Dubravka 5
Left exposed but not his finest hour. Should have cleaned everything out for the first goal but not helped by Clark.
Jacob Murphy 4
Battled hard in the first half but left chasing the game. Outmuscled by Jesus for Sterling goal.
Jamaal Lascelles 4
Given the nod but looked shaky and couldn't live with stellar City forward line.
Ciaran Clark 4
Return to starting line-up marred by poor decision making as he ducked out of the way to allow Dias to score opener. Not a great return.
Matt Ritchie 5
Given the thankless task of dealing with Mahrez and Cancelo on the overlap.
Joe Willock 5
Barely got near City. Cancelo waltzed past him for the second goal. Taken off at half-time.
Isaac Hayden 5
An untimely slip for the second goal and a missed header.
Ryan Fraser 6
Lively in spells and should have had a penalty.
Miguel Almiron 5
Started well enough but eventually taken off.
Joelinton 8
Easily Newcastle's standout performer. Showed class and composure on the ball. Newcastle need more like him.
Callum Wilson 7
Fed off scraps but still dominated in the air. Had game's best chance and forced Ederson into fine save.

Allan Saint-Maximin 6 (for Willock 46)
Has his moments.
Sean Longstaff 5 (for Hayden 61)
Handed a chance but only had 10 touches.
