Mindless yobs launched eggs at a Scots family hitting a pram carrying a newborn baby last night.
The thugs threw the eggs from a moving car driving on Aurs Road at Barrhead High School in East Renfrewshire at around 9pm.
The family were waiting to cross at the lights when the mindless individuals threw the missiles at them, hitting the pram and a woman on the arm.
The newborn baby's aunt Courtney Gallacher told the Record: "It all happened so fast and then they drove away very fast up the street.
"An egg hit the side of the pram and my cousin's girlfriend got hit on the arm.
"We were all just standing at the traffic lights outside the new high school waiting to cross when it happened.
"We were so angry because they could clearly see that we had a baby with us.
"Then it just made us feel sad and shocked - how can people do that."
Police have now launched a probe after the family reported the incident to police through Crimestoppers.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We have received the report of eggs being thrown from a moving vehicle towards pedestrians who were pushing a pram on Aurs Road in Barrhead, at around 9.23pm on Tuesday, 2 March, 2021.
"The incident happened at the traffic lights outside Barrhead School."
