Newark and Sherwood District Council local election results 2019

Newark and Sherwood District Council will hold local elections on Thursday, May 2.

The count will be at Newark Sports and Fitness Centre, Bowbridge Road, Newark, starting at 10am on Friday May 3, 2019.

This article will be updated when the results are announced, along with reaction from those at the count.

The Conservatives currently run the council, with 24 councillors. Labour have 12, and there are three independents.
