Another person has died after a volcano erupted on New Zealand,'s White Island, bringing the death toll up to six.
Police said on Tuesday morning that a sixth person succumbed to their injuries in hospital.
It comes as an investigation was launched into why tourists were allowed in the area, focusing on the circumstances of the deaths and injuries.
Eight people remain missing and are presumed dead after Monday's disaster, while 31 were in hospital.
