New Zealand stock exchange places ANZ under trading halt pending remediation announcement

(Reuters) - The New Zealand stock exchange on Tuesday announced a trading halt on ordinary shares of Australia and New Zealand Banking Group <ANZ.AX> <ANZ.NZ>, pending an announcement from the lender regarding customer remediation matters.

NZX Regulation in a statement said the trading

halt was placed at 2101 GMT.
