WELLINGTON (Reuters) - Growth in New Zealand's services sector sped up in November, snapping a two-month losing streak, a survey showed on Monday.
The Bank of New Zealand-Business NZ's seasonally adjusted performance of services index (PSI) rose to 56.4 from 55.6 the previous month.
A reading above 50 indicates an expansion in activity.
"Positive signs were widespread across the PSI with expansionary readings seen in the unadjusted results across all industries, regions, sub components, and firm sizes," said Doug Steele, BNZ economist, in a statement accompanying the release.
Last week, a companion survey (PMI) showed manufacturing activity rose to 57.7 in November from 57.3.
