New Zealand second-quarter wholesale sales rise 1.7 percent

WELLINGTON (Reuters) - New Zealand seasonally adjusted wholesale sales rose 1.7 percent in the second quarter, Statistics New Zealand data showed on Thursday.

Actual wholesale sales were 6 percent higher than the same quarter a year ago.

The data is one of the final components of gross domestic product data to be released on Sept 21.
