New Zealand reports migration gain in August

WELLINGTON, Oct 15 (Reuters) - New Zealand posted a seasonally adjusted net gain of 3530 permanent and long-term migrants in August, data from Statistics New Zealand showed on Tuesday.

The number of short-term visitors to New Zealand rose 1.8 percent on a year ago.
