Business managers in New Zealand expect inflation to pick up slightly from the third quarter, a central bank survey showed on Thursday.
The Reserve Bank of New Zealand's quarterly survey of expectations showed business managers forecast annual inflation to average 1.03% over the coming year, from 0.74% in the previous survey in May.
The two-year inflation expectations -- seen as the time frame when RBNZ policy action will filter through to prices -- rose to 1.43% from 1.24%.
