Manufacturing activity in New Zealand showed further expansion in July as recovery continues for many manufacturers through increased orders and production in full swing, a survey said on Friday.
The Bank of New Zealand-Business NZ's seasonally adjusted Performance of Manufacturing Index (PMI) rose to 58.8 from 56.3 the previous month. A reading above 50 indicates an expansion in activity, while anything below that threshold indicates a contraction.
