WELLINGTON (Reuters) - New Zealand's near-term inflation expectations edged down in the second quarter, a survey showed on Tuesday.
The Reserve Bank of New Zealand's quarterly survey of expectations showed business managers forecast annual inflation to average 1.8 percent over the coming year, from 1.86 percent in the previous survey.
Two-year inflation expectations - seen as the time frame when RBNZ policy action will filter through to prices - slipped to 2.01 percent from 2.11 percent.
