New Zealand company seals deal to move to Warwickshire business park

Warwickshire business park Tournament Fields has secured a deal to welcome a New Zealand company to the site.

Gallagher is a security product and service organisation operating across 160 countries worldwide.

The company has chosen a ‘built to suit’ unit at Tournament Fields , which is located near Warwick.

Gallagher exchanged contracts for the multi-million pound freehold unit on Wednesday August 5.

The new premises at Tournament Fields will become the company’s UK and European headquarters.

Sackville Developments (Warwick), part of Clowes Developments, secured planning consent for the new 24,000 sq ft unit during the height of the Covid-19 lockdown period.

Permissions has been secured for a hybrid two-storey building with additional planning permission to extend the unit by a further 10,000 sq ft in the future.

The deal marks the sixth international organisation to make the move to the business park.

Paul Shanley, of Sackville Developments (Warwick), said: “Tournament Fields is a thriving business park located adjacent to J15 of the M40 motorway, south west of Warwick town centre.

“The park benefits from direct access to the Midlands motorway network and excellent transport links to Warwick and the surrounding areas, which makes efficient business logistics a seamless process.

“As experienced national developers, we have an eye for identifying strategically located business parks opportunities which tick the boxes for our target market.

“We ensure that we listen to the requirements of our clients, and with an impressive track record of over delivering on our promises, our clients are confident in our ability to, in the words of our founder, ‘do a proper job’.”

Gallagher will be joining a number of other companies at the site.

They include Semcon, Eagle Burgmann, Geberit, GFA, 3P Innovation and Scholastic.

Benniman have been announced as the design and build contractor appointed for the project, and will begin works in September this year, with a client handover expected in summer 2021.
