WELLINGTON (Reuters) - Prices for New Zealand's main commodities rose in January, pushed up by higher milk prices, ANZ Bank's commodity price index showed on Monday.
The index edged up 0.7 percent for the month, compared with a 1.9 percent fall in the previous month.
On an annual basis the index was 4.1 percent higher, compared with a 3.2 percent jump the month before.
Whole milk powder, the country's biggest export earner, was up 5.1 percent as dry weather conditions curbed milk production.
