WELLINGTON (Reuters) - New Zealand business sentiment stayed negative but nudged up from a two-year low in the first quarter, a private think tank said on Tuesday.
A net 11 percent of firms surveyed expected general business conditions to deteriorate compared with 12 percent who had been negative in the previous quarter, the New Zealand Institute of Economic Research's (NZIER) quarterly survey of business opinion (QSBO) showed.
The survey's measure of capacity utilisation was 93.5 percent, from the previous quarter's 92.8 percent.
