New 'yuck' Marks and Spencer bread rolls have shoppers divided

M&S shoppers have been divided over a new flavour of bread roll, with some branding it as "yuck".

The new flavour, which was shared to the Newfoodsuk Facebook page, gained mixed opinions from shoppers. The page is dedicated to all things food and drink and has over 235k followers who like to keep up to date with new and exciting snacks.

Sharing the new flavour, Newfoodsuk post reads: “New Cheese & Marmite Rolls from M&S!” With an image showcasing the rather controversial product.

Available from the M&S bakery section in store, the pack features four rolls with a marmite infused cheesy topping. The post racked up over 700 likes and 978 comments, but not everyone was keen.

One shopper said: “Tried them in Birmingham, nearly puked tiger bread is so much better.” A second commented: “Marmite is going too far now.....Worst mistake was putting marmite in lynx”

Some Marmite lovers were quick to defend the new product. A third shopper commented: “Oh wow..... An excuse to go to M&S for these beauties!” A fourth said: “I am in heaven these are soo lush x”

Since Easter is over and the M&S Marmite cheese hot cross buns are no longer being stocked, this could be a good alternative for Marmite fans. Find them at your local store here.
