New York Yankees’ Gerrit Cole is the MLB Perfect Inning 23 cover star

A new MLB Perfect Inning is just around the corner, and developer Com2Us announced Gerrit Cole is the new Perfect Inning cover star. Perfect Inning 23 and its Cole-centric cover launch on March 23, 2023, for iOS and Android mobile devices, bringing along a swathe of new improvements, players, and more.

The sports game is honoring Cole after his record season as the first Yankee right-hander to lead the league in strikeouts.

If you pre-register for MLB Perfect Inning 23 before its launch date, you’ll get Cole’s highlight card, along with 23 platinum, gold, and advanced player packs. Those who played Perfect Inning 22 and update to 23 will get an additional bundle of rewards, including platinum player packs and some Perfect Inning coins. The number of coins depends on your achievements in Perfect Inning 22.

Perfect Inning 23 builds on Perfect Inning Ultimate, which Com2Us is laying to rest when 23 launches. 23 improves on Ultimate’s 3D visuals with updated stadiums and player models, and it adds quite a bit of new content as well, including new modes.

One of these is Club Match, a PvP mode with challenges you have to overcome as a team. The classic franchise and live season modes return as well, with new special edition Legend cards to collect.
