Yankees: New York has been dealing with injuries early on this season but still have plenty of power in their lineup. Hitting four home runs on Friday to spoil Baltimore’s home opener, while beating them soundly 8-4. Domingo German (1-0, 0.00 ERA) will get the ball on Sunday, in his last outing, he pitched 5.0 innings of scoreless baseball, allowing one hit and had seven strikeouts. He will look to silence the Orioles early in the final game of the series.
Orioles: Even though Baltimore has dropped the last two to the Yankees, it doesn’t mean they haven’t had their own firepower as of late. Jonathan Villar has two homers, one triple, one double, and four RBIs over his last four games. Villar went 2-for-5 with a homer on Friday and will look to continue that power today. David Hess (1-0, 0.00 ERA) will get the start opposite German on Sunday, in his last outing the 25-year-old didn’t give up a single hit, working 6.1 innings.
