New York Times Games Wrapped: See your year in Wordle data

Is your first move when you wake up to solve the Wordle? Do you have a set rhythm of games you work through on the New York Times app?

If so, now you can get a wrap-up of how your Year in Games has gone, as the New York Times jumps on the year-end roundup bandwagon.

The publication’s Games app shot to heights when it bought Wordle back in 2022, but the brand has long since been known for its crosswords and other puzzles.

With new games launching all the time, it’s a regular daily routine for many people, with over 10 million daily players across all platforms.

The new Year in Games wrap-up includes personalised stats about which of its daily puzzles and games that users played over the course of 2025, much like Spotify Wrapped.

Specifically, you can learn your most-played game, how many days you played on the app, the average guesses it took you to solve Wordle, your longest streak on Strands, and your most guessed category on Connections.

There are also awards for different user behaviour, like ‘Morning Solver’ for people who solve the brain-teasers early on in the morning.

The Year in Games reviews are available on the iOS and Android apps for The New York Times, as well as on a dedicated mobile web page. It’s best used on a mobile device, so if you’re on desktop, be sure to scan the barcode so you get your Year in Games on your smartphone.
