New York tabloids had a field day with the Giants’ Odell Beckham Jr. trade

It’s not a bad dream, New York Giants fans.

The franchise really did trade superstar wideout Odell Beckham Jr. to the Cleveland Browns, where he’ll join a powerful team that also includes his friend and ex-LSU teammate Jarvis Landry.

To add insult to injury, the team’s co-tenant at MetLife Stadium trumped the much-criticized Giants trade by signing running back Le’Veon Bell to a very palatable contract, giving the Jets a big win they needed after being spurned by linebacker Anthony Barr.

The only thing the Jets couldn’t do was steal the back pages of the New York tabloids, which only happened because the Bell signing happened in the middle of the night.

So here’s how the Daily News dealt with the Beckham trade (and their headline about Bell at the top is pretty great too):

That one word about Beckham sums up how Giants fans felt on Tuesday night when the news broke.
