New York tabloid back pages pay tribute to Eli Manning after Giants bench him

When the New York Giants announced Eli Manning would sit and rookie QB Daniel Jones would take his place, the reaction was pretty universal: There were tributes flying in everywhere even though many of those same people knew it was time for Manning to be benched.

There was #ThankYouEli trending on Twitter, and all kinds of emotions shared about the two-time Super Bowl winner ending a run in which he missed just one contest (and that was because he was benched for Geno Smith) since his first start.
