Authentic New York-style pizzas are in short supply here in the Big Mango. However, they're slowly but surely making their way into the market. Soho Pizza is one of the few places where you can get your NY-style pizza craving satisfied. Located on Sukhumvit 11, Soho Pizza is making the 18-inch pizza even more accessible to Bangkokians and we are eternally grateful.
Opened more than a month now, Soho Pizza's staff were trained by renown pizza consultant Anthony Falco. Customers can eat their slices in the open area or take home a box to share -- or perhaps it's all for you. Don't worry, this is a judgement-free zone.
Soho Pizza's menu is short but sweet and there's something for everyone. If you're a stickler for the classics then you've got the likes of the Cheese pizza (B120), which is equally greasy and cheesy in goodness and a must-have. Another classic to go for is the Pepperoni (B150) if you want something a little saltier for the palate. If you think you're just going to be biting into a boring pepperoni pizza then surprise, you're dead wrong because your taste buds will be treated to an explosion of flavour. If you're looking for something a little more loaded and meaty, look no further than the Sausage and peppers (B150), which gives you a chock-full of a variety of flavours when you bite into the cheesy, meaty goodness. Like I said though, there's something for everyone and that includes seafood lovers with the Shrimp scampi (B120) or if you're a vegetarian then the Green machine (B120) is something you should definitely opt for. If you thought veggie pizzas can't be a thing then let this pizza proves you wrong.
There's nothing like feasting on a NY-style pizza and having to use both hands just to get the slice into your mouth. I'm more than glad that Soho Pizza has brought a little taste of the Big Apple to the Big Mango. Am I going back for more slices? No -- I'm going back for more boxes.
