A four-year-old girl and two women have been shot in New York's busy Times Square in broad daylight.
Two of the victims are reported to be a mum and daughter, who suffered a gunshot wound to her leg.
Witnesses told local media the shooting happened near the Minskoff Theater, which is home to The Lion King musical, though it is not currently playing due to coronavirus restrictions.
NYPD have launched a manhunt for the shooter, who ran from the scene after gunfire erupted just before 5pm local time on Saturday, and shut down part of Times Square.
The victims were in a stable condition as they received treatment for their injuries in hospital.

Police sources told the New York Post the victims were a mum and daughter.
The girl was shot in the leg, the report added.
Both were expected to survive, NBC News reported.

Times Square is one of the busiest tourist attractions in the US and is usually packed with visitors on a Saturday afternoon.
The number of tourists to the city, however, has dropped due to the coronavirus pandemic.
