The Jets now know exactly when they will be playing in the preseason.
Just as the NFL released the regular season schedule Wednesday night, the league also solidified the preseason schedule. The preseason will run through the beginning of August until the end of the month.
With that being said, here’s a look at the Jets’ 2019 preseason schedule:
Week 1 – at Giants (Aug. 8, 7 pm, NBC)
Week 2 – at Falcons (Aug. 15, 7:30 pm, CBS)
Week 3 – vs. Saints (Aug. 24, 7:30 pm, CBS)
Week 4 – vs. Eagles (Aug. 29, 7:30 pm, CBS)
The preseason schedule for the Jets this season is pretty standard. They’ll play the Giants and Eagles as they always do. The only change with the Giants is that it’ll be in Week 1, and not Week 3. This is because the two teams are playing in the regular season as well in Week 10.
The Saints and Falcons are teams that the Jets normally don’t face in the preseason, but they should give them a challenge. The Saints were one game away from the Super Bowl last season, while the Falcons have one of the best offenses in the league.
Overall, the preseason will be good for the Jets to get used to all the changes that they’ve made throughout the offseason and to improve on what they had from last season too.
