One Stirling family were ringing in the new year with the addition of their newest member on January 1.
Proud parents Laura and Mark Reynolds welcomed little Markus Jayden Reynolds on Saturday morning.
The baby made his big appearance at Forth Valley Royal Hospital at 9.52am in New Year’s day, weighing 7lbs 10oz.
The family, from Fallin, includes siblings Steven (16), Chloe (13) and Aidan (1).

Markus had been due on January 16, but decided to give the family a new year to remember by appearing more than two weeks early.
The family were able to return home around six hours later on the big day.
Laura is a registered care manager for a care-at-home company, Home Instead, in Stirling and Mark is a shift manager at Superglass in Sprinkerse.
Laura said: “Markus is a very happy, content baby.
“Since he is definitely our last one he has his dad’s name, he is Markus but is known as Mark.”
