New Year's Eve 2019: The best events and parties you can attend for free

New Year's Eve is just around the corner and there's plenty of free events in Bristol you can see in 2020 at.

From club nights to enjoying the fireworks away from the crowds, there's something for everyone to enjoy as the year comes to a close.

Here are some of the best parties and events you can attend to celebrate the beginning of a new year.

New Year's Eve party at Tobacco Factory

Where : Tobacco Factory, Raleigh Road, BS3 1TF

When : 8pm

The Tobacco Factory in Bedminster will marking the end of its anniversary year with DJs and dancing, while The Yard Kitchen Bar will be serving winter drinks and hot food.

Mr Wolf's NYE: Project XX

For New Year's Eve, there will be free entry at Mr Wolfs, an intimate dance venue with live music and club nights. The venue will be throwing it's very own "house party" complete with beer pong and a DJ set spanning funk, soul, disco and more.

When : 9pm

New Year's resolution ideas for 2020

Liquid Lunar NYE Party

To The Moon (Google Maps)

Where: To The Moon, 27-29 Midland Road, Old Market, St Philips, BS2 0JT

When: 6pm

To The Moon in Old Market will be holding its Liquid Lunar NYE Party after previously running the event during the last couple of years.  Expect DJs from 8pm, 2 for 1 cocktails for two hours from 6pm and "nice vibe" drum and bass.

New Year's Eve at Prince Street Social

Where: Prince Street Social, 37-41 Prince St, BS1 4PS

When: 6pm

The annual NYE party at the Prince Street Social will be free entry this year and guests will be able to enjoy their new cocktails until 1am.

Brew Year's Eve at King Street Brew House

If you fancy seeing in 2020 in King Street, there's free entry and extended hours until 2am at the King Street Brew House this year.

Where: King Street Brew House, 13 Welsh Back, BS1 4RR

When: 12pm to 2am

Enjoy the fireworks from the hills

If you don't fancy spending the last few hours of 2019 at a club night or among huge crowds of revellers, you can always head to some stunning viewpoints to watch the firework displays.

Some of the best view points are Dundry Hill, Troopers Hill in St George, the Northern Slopes, Brandon Hill and the Downs.
