Westlife have stormed to the top of iTunes charts in the UK and Ireland with their new tune "Better Man" just an hour after its release this morning.
Kian Egan shared a photo of the charts on his Instagram, thanking fans for their support.
He said: "No.1 on iTunes in the UK and Ireland. Thank you all so so much! #BetterMan ."
The band employed some well-known songwriters to pen the tune, including Ed Sheeran and Steve Mac and had leaked a teaser of the song earlier this week.

And it appears Ed Sheeran is enjoying the finished product as he shared an Instagram story of himself listening to 'Better Man.'

Fans praised the song, with one commenting on Twitter: "Yesssss I’ve got it on Spotify now! Absolutely love it!"
Another added: "Four copies bought already and streamed loads".
And a third said: Love, Love, Love it. Downloaded at midnight. Roll on June and July for Glasgow & Dublin concerts."
