The west end of Glasgow is set to welcome a new desert destination tomorrow, with Melts ice cream parlour getting ready to throw open its doors to Dumbarton Road.
Due to serve up delicious sweet treats from its 1000 Dumbarton Road address, owners are promising "lots of freebies and giveaways" on opening day including a free ice cream cone or tub between 3 and 4pm and a free ice blast with any purchase over £10 later on in the evening. And there's also a mysterious 'golden ticket' to be won.
The owners told Glasgow Live in advance of the opening: "We guarantee there are a few you won’t be able to find in any other dessert shop within Glasgow."
And menu options include candy floss burritos, candy floss cones, candy floss bags, ice cream tacos, hot Nutella waffle balls, s’mores, hot waffles, bubble waffles, ice cream tubs and cones, milkshakes, sundaes, pic 'n' mix, 22 ice cream flavours and more!
Meanwhile, Melts have confirmed anyone who comments on the article on Glasgow Live Facebook page will be given 10% off their order.
