New west end dog-friendly ice cream shop opens this weekend

A new, dog-friendly ice cream shop has arrived in Glasgow's west end this weekend.

Olivia's Gelateria, based at 344 Crow Road, had it's official opening today, after teasing it's arrival for over a year on social media.

The Broomhill shop will be serving up ice cream, soft serve, crepes, chimney cakes, and coffee to wash it all down with, as well as having some vegan options on their menu.

For any furry friends visiting the shop, a puppycino will be on the drinks menu.

Business owners said: "We’ll be making all of our ice cream in-house: our pink corner of the west end will be scooping up classic flavours and new favourites.

"We’ve had a number of hurdles over the past year and we know the community has been waiting a long time. We really think the shop will be worth the wait and we can’t wait to get the ball rolling."
