A Northumberland business has launched a new 'Wedflix' service that will provide couples with everything they need to plan a non-traditional wedding - including those with a TV theme.
Engagement ring retailer Angelic Diamond has launched the online platform as a one-stop shop for those planning their big day, after realising that there was a gap in the market for people who did not want a traditional wedding.
The Cramlington-based business has created a number of handy how-to guides after using Google search data to research which themed weddings are the most popular.
Couples can also use the interactive platform to click on their favourite TV shows or films and will then be shown how to organise the perfect themed wedding.
Themes include the Harry Potter series, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Friends, and Disney's Frozen.
Once a theme has been selected, Angelic Diamonds will help plan the wedding, helping to pick everything from the perfect location, the best engagement ring for the theme, and an estimation of the cost of the whole wedding.
The site also recommends a number of items that can be incorporated into the wedding to fit the theme.
For example, those who want a Shrek-themed wedding are guided towards an Emerald Viola wedding ring, green flower centre pieces, a happily ever after neon sign, plus Shrek and Fiona outfits for the bride and groom.
