BBC's thriller Vigil has left fans gripped throughout and is now set to round off its impressive first series.
With a second series already reportedly in talks after high viewing figures earlier this month, fans of the show are eagerly awaiting the conclusion of the six-part series.
The series from the makers of Line of Duty is set on a submarine which is carrying Trident nuclear weapons.
DCI Silva, played by Suranne Jones, has been sent down to investigate the murder of Martin Compston's character, Craig Burke.
She soon discovers that there is more to the death than meets the eye and becomes wary of the crew on board.
In the fifth episode there was suspense galore with Silva being left in a precarious life and death situation.
Quickly after discovering who the Russian spy on board was who has been causing chaos, she was knocked out and locked in a missile tube.
Ever since, fans have been eagerly awaiting the outcome.
And now snap shots from the final episode have been released, giving fans a sneak peek into what to expect.
Matthew Doward was Silva's suspect after she discovered someone was blackmailing chef Jackie Hamilton before her death.
He was also the person that knocked Silva unconscious in the previous episode.
But, with fans unsure what he is up to next, the new images reveal he is still on the vessel.
Back on land Kirsten Longacre (Leslie Rose) has been at war trying to discover exactly what happened to Craig's girlfriend Jade. Kristen demanded that their vessel returned to port.
And tension continues to boil over against the police force and the Royal Navy as Rear Admiral Shaw doesn't want it to look as though something is wrong on HMS Vigil.
While the images don't give a whole lot away, and there aren't many leaked story lines, it's clear that Vigil isn't expected to go out on a whimper.
The story line and characters have impressed on the whole throughout. When it first began, viewers were quick to praise the show for portraying a gay relationship that "isn't the main point of the story".
However, the drama wasn't to everyone's liking.
TV presenter Lorraine Kelly admitted that she had fallen behind on the show as she was finding Suranne Jones’ role in the drama “really annoying”.
Lorraine said of Suranne: “I do love her - Gentleman Jack remains my favourite thing in the world - but she’s really annoying me in that which is why I’ve not kept up with it but I definitely will.”
Vigil concludes at 9pm on BBC One, with previous instalments available on BBC iPlayer.
