Just days after saying I Do and starting their journey as husband and wife, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were back to work and attended their first engagement as a married couple.
They looked every inch in love as they joined Prince Charles and Camilla at a garden party to celebrate the Prince of Wales's 70th birthday.
However, many have claimed that the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex's unhappiness with royal life, which resulted in them quitting this year, began this early and suggest an unearthed video from the event shows drama behind the scenes.
It shows Meghan and Harry chatting to guests at the event, and the Duchess can be heard admiring one woman's necklace.
They are then approached by a member of staff, who appears to tell Harry that Charles wants to chat to him.
Harry then steps aside and his dad says something quietly to him, placing his hand on his arm.
Harry nods and gestures ahead of him before patting his dad on the back and returning to Meghan.
Camilla then walks over and kisses both Harry and Meghan goodbye before returning to the waiting crowds.
The Sussexes say their goodbyes to the group they were chatting to, telling them to enjoy the rest of the afternoon, and walk back towards the palace with their staff.
It's not known what Charles said to his youngest son, and it's likely that he was just saying his goodbyes or telling him their car had arrived.
However author Lady Colin Campbell claims that there was actually a lot more to this story, and said she was "absolutely gobsmacked and astonished" when she heard what happened.
She teased the tale in an interview with the Daily Star, but wouldn't share of the details, saying all would be revealed in her book Meghan and Harry: The Real Story which is released later this month.
But according to royal fans, the extract has been leaked on social media.
The Twitter account @murky_meg claims that Lady C has been told that Meghan and Harry were the ones who wanted to leave.
She claims Meghan described the event as "boring", and said everyone knew they had been so it was fine for them to leave early.
Another, @Megs_Legs, also wrote: “Remember the garden party held in honour of Charles' 70th?
“And #themarkles were asked to leave 40 min in because of Meghan’s behavior? [sic]
“They were escorted out along with their entourage. M was not happy!”
However, Meghan and Harry delayed their honeymoon as they were so keen to attend the event.
Meghan and Charles are known to get on very well and the pair formed an unlikely friendship over their common interest in the enviroment.
He reportedly nicknamed her 'Tungsten', because, just like the super-tough metal, she's "tough and unbending".
