• Hampshire Constabulary 's temporary deputy chief constable apologised for the officers' actions, stating they were 'lied to' and unaware of Mr Nowak's injury.
• The Independent Office for Police Conduct is investigating Hampshire Police's response, and a jury inquest next year will examine if any police actions contributed to Mr Nowak's death.
