New video released showing new apartments being built opposite Notts County's stadium

If you haven't been into Nottingham for a while you may be wondering just how some of the city apartment blocks are progressing.

Trent Bridge Quays, opposite the gates to the Meadow Lane Stadium, is now taking shape and Steve Dodd, managing director of Elevate, the developer behind the build, says work is progressing to the point the firm can now offer hard-hat tours around the site.

While the building still looks like a shell in many respects, the show home is due to be launched in October.

Elevate is currently building 95 townhouses and apartments at the development and the first release is due for completion in the late autumn.

David Hofton, sales and marketing director at Elevate, added: “We have already sold 60% of the first release of 38 apartments with three luxury penthouses among the first to be snapped up.

“All the apartments fronting the River Trent have balconies and the views in each direction are amazing."

Football fans, regardless of which Nottingham team they support, will be able to pick their preference - a view of The City Ground across the River Trent and, in the other direction, a view of Meadow Lane stadium.

David said the current Stamp Duty Holiday, on top of Help to Buy assistance, had definitely sparked interest among buyers.

Steve Parker, director of selling agents FHP Living, added: “With prices starting at £192,500 for a one bedroom luxury apartment, to £345,000 for a townhouse with three double bedrooms, it is easy to see the difference the Stamp Duty Holiday can make.

“Whether it is a pent-up demand which built up during lockdown, or a real desire to move home and step up to new level of living, there is definitely a buzz about Trent Bridge Quays and levels of interest have never been higher.”

Phase II, scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2021, will include a further 40 apartments and 18 townhouses on the former Muller site on Meadow Lane. The company has also just received planning permission for three riverfront duplex apartments overlooking Tinkers Lock.

In the meantime, the firm is conducting hard hat tours including one this weekend, Saturday, September 12.

The next series of site tour is scheduled on Saturday 12 September from 10am by appointment only with agents FHP Living.
