New vegetarian and vegan pizza place Pico Pizza opening in Glasgow's east end

A brand new pizza place is set to open in Glasgow next week, specialising in vegetarian and veggie slices.

Pico Pizza is launching from the Meals Collective charity kitchen in Bridgeton in the east end of the city, with pizzas available for delivery or collection on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Alongside veggie and vegan classics, menu items will also include a number of specials, sides and dips, with the more details to be revealed in the coming days.

Teasing hungry Glasgow foodies as to what they can expect, the team behind Picco Pizza said: Launching next Friday (March 12), we are delighted to bring you a new joint serving up sustainable, hand-made vegetarian and vegan pizzas in the east end of Glasgow.

"Based in the Meals Collective charity kitchen, we'll be making all sorts of pizza classics (like the marinara pictured) and funky specials, tasty sides and dips for your delectation.

"We'll be posting more pics over the coming days. Give us a like and follow!

"Available to order online for collection and delivery from 4pm. Open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday."

These pizzas look delicious and we can't wait to give them a try!
