New Vauxhall Crossland compact crossover specs and prices revealed

VAUXHALL has released prices and specs for its new Crossland compact SUV – with order books open now.

The popular British marque’s newcomer will cost from £19,060 on the road and first customer deliveries will start early in 2021. Buyers will have a choice of 33 models, consisting of six trim levels and five powertrain options, and prices top out at £27,430.

All feature the brand’s latest design language, including the bold new Vauxhall Vizor front-end that was first introduced on the all-new Mokka.

A single module now runs across the face of the small SUV, containing LED lights and a new Griffin logo. At the back, dark-tinted tail lights and a high-gloss black tailgate surface give the car a wider stance than its Crossland X predecessor.

The new Crossland starts in SE trim and comes with 16in bi-colour wheels, auto LED headlights, a seven-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus lane departure warning and speed sign recognition as standard.

Starting from £20,210, SE Nav Premium trim adds front and rear parking sensors, a reversing camera, LED fog lights and an eight-inch touchscreen with sat nav.

Sporty SRi Nav models – beginning at £21,360, feature 17in bi-colour alloy wheels, contrasting roof colours, alloy-effect skid plates and dark tinted rear windows.

Elite models are priced from £22,610 and contain leather seat trim and heated front seats and steering wheel, while Elite Nav models, available from £23,110, add the higher-spec infotainment as well as wireless mobile phone charging and a 180-degree panoramic rear-view camera.

Top-of-the range Ultimate Nav models, costing from £25,615, enhance things further with Alcantara seat trim, keyless entry and start, and silver roof rails.

Powertrains start with an 83PS 1.2-litre petrol engine combined with a five-speed manual gearbox. There is also six-speed manual 1.2 turbo developing 110PS and a higher-powered 130PS unit mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.

For fans of diesel, there is a 110PS 1.5-litre unit with a six-speed manual box or 120PS auto variant.
